Inspired by my friend Jimmy’s new blog over at http://the365blogchallenge.blogspot.com/2011/01/1sleepless-in-seattle.html, I’m going to try putting more focus on this blog and growing it, and also working more on my own blogs, including this one on a daily basis, as well as focus on getting my own portfolio put together more.
In theory, there’s enough artists in the world I could do a post about a new artist every day of the year for the rest of my life and still not cover all of them. I need to do this sort of stuff more to get my own creative juices flowing and think about things more to fight my own inhibitions and “writers block” when it comes to my own artwork.
Tonight I came across a lot of sketch books I have lots of stuff in that I’ve never digitized to put on my main blog at http://jeffthomann.wordpress.com yet. I also have a lot of stuff in my old portfolio that isn’t over there yet. I got lots to do. It’ll be hard to find the time to do it all since I’m also working on getting in shape for health reasons, so I’m trying to workout at least an hour or more a night when possible…
I updated and added some info on the Jim Burns entry tonight. I’ll do more for other posts in the future at some point.
